Europe Factory is a website exclusively dedicated to professionals (B2B marketplace), including, on the buyers side, people who have not yet created a company (aspiring entrepreneurs).

Companies who want to register as a supplier must have their registered office based in the European Union.

Europe Factory is currently not intended to allow the sale of products or services online. Europe Factory helps buyers and suppliers connecting, and would encourage large purchases, requiring mostly direct negotiation between stakeholders.

Main issues

I didn't receive the validation mail and I can't use my account

When you create your account, several mails will be sent to the email address you specified, including one which object is "Validation of email address". Those emails are sent right after the creation of your account. Sometimes, they can arrive with some delay. If you don't receive those mails, and especially the one for the validation of your email address, write us through this page.

I can't find the link to contact a supplier, or to ask him for a quote.

Only suppliers with a Gold or Platinum subscription (G/P suppliers) can be contacted online, via Europe Factory.

Does Europe Factory select suppliers and buyers ?

Europe Factory does not select suppliers and buyers. They voluntarily register, and are solely responsible for the published content and the relationship they may establish with other users, as specified in our Terms of Use. If you have any doubt about the activity of a user, you can report it via the form.

How does Europe Factory works ?

How to search ?

There are three ways to search on Europe Factory:

  • By keyword : as a search engine, just write the name of the product, service or savoir-faire you are looking for in the text box available at the top of the interface.

  • By category : via the “Categories” tab, or the permanently accessible area in the main menu, navigate among 16 major categories, which are themselves broken down into 3 levels, meaning currently more than 500 categories.

  • By country : from the home page and the tab "Country" accessible from the menu, go directly to the specific products and services of suppliers from a specific country of the European Union.

Whichever search method you use, all results can then be filtered according to various criteria (distance, stock...).

Note that the filter "distance" only works if you have your information completely and correctly filled in.

How to contact a supplier ?

In order to contact online a supplier, two criteria must be met:

  1. To be registered on the website;

  2. Contact a supplier who has subscribed.

If these criteria are not met, you still can contact the supplier by telephone, fax or mail, if those information are filled in.

How are classified the search results ?

The suppliers shown on Europe Factory have the choice between a Basic account and a Gold/ Platinum account.

Suppliers who have a Gold or Platinum account appear primarily in the results, regardless of the search criteria (by country, category ...) and sorting used. The indication "G/P Supplier" helps you to identify these suppliers.

Who’s eligible to create an account ?

Europe Factory is dedicated to professionals who need to make purchases for their activity.

These professionals can also be aspiring entrepreneurs, that is to say, for example, individuals who have no legal status but are working on a business project or professional activity and who, in this context, are looking for suppliers.

A professional who also wants to benefit from the supplier functions can directly create a Buyer and Supplier account, or do it after via his account.

Why sign in ?

As a visitor, you can use the search function of suppliers and products without creating an account.

If you wish to contact suppliers, and benefit from all the available tools of the website (see further), you will have to create a free account.

Moreover, after your signing in, you can request the indication “Verified profile” via your space. This will help you to get suppliers’ confidence.

How to create an account ?

To create an account, just click on the "Sign up" link at the top of the interface, and fill in the required fields.

Account creation is immediate.

How much does it cost ?

The use of Europe Factory is completely free for buyers.

If needed, you can ask us to search for suppliers and/or products/services through a paid service. To do so, please click on "On-demand services" in the menu or in your account. You need to be logged in.

Can I delete my accout ?

You may request deletion of your account at any time from the "Your Profile" tab available in your account. This is not immediate, so as to avoid mistakes or malicious actions.

If you just want not to be listed on the website, you can do so from the tab « Buyer card » available in your account.

I’ve created a Buyer and Supplier profile, but I want to disable my Supplier profile. How to do it ?

From your account, in the "Your Profile" tab, you can change your account type. Simply choose the type "Buyer" to disable all functions related to your Supplier account. Your Supplier card and your Catalog will no longer be accessible to users, and you can not access the history of messages and quotations.

You can at any time reactivate this profile. Reactivation will put back online your Supplier card, and your Catalog, and you will get back access to the history of messages and quotations.

If you have a Gold or Platinum subscription which is not expired yet, it will not be impacted. It will remain valid until its expiration date, regardless of your account type changes.

Buyers : use of the website

What is the Buyers directory ?

The directory of buyers is another tool to help you in your daily life. It allows you, for example, to be contacted by new suppliers, or indicate a specific need of a new type of products you want to buy.

You’re the only one who decides to be listed or not.

If you agree to be listed, you can specify the type of products or services you buy, and your contact preferences: email, phone, fax... So the suppliers will know what is the best way to contact you, and how often.

If you wish, you can anonymize your name and company in the directory. You can be canvassed while maintaining your privacy, as long as you do not respond to suppliers.

My account in details

  • Your profile : your basic account information and options.

  • Buyer card : detailed information of your buyer profile listed in the Buyers directory.

  • Supplier card (shown when the account is both Buyer and Supplier) : detailed information of your supplier profile listed in the Suppliers directory, and accessible from your product sheets.

  • Notifications : each new post and every new exchange on a quote generate a notification. All notifications are in this tab, allowing you to quickly know if you have important information to be processed.

  • Catalog (shown when the account is both Buyer and Supplier) : manage here your product, services or savoir-faire sheets.

  • Searches : here you will find all your saved searches about a product, a supplier or, if applicable, a buyer.

  • Messages : find all sent and received messages via the website.

  • Quotes : find your quotation requests and, if applicable, your answers.

  • Contacts : shows all your saved contacts.

  • Subscription (shown when the account is both Buyer and Supplier) : displays your subscription level, and allows you to modify it.

  • Orders history : if applicable, displays all your invoices of subscription.

What is a G/P supplier?

A G/P supplier means that this supplier can be contacted through the website, and answer your quote requests.

Who’s eligible to create an account ?

Only suppliers and service providers whose headquarters are based in the European Union can register as a supplier.

Suppliers and service providers must have a legal existence.

Individuals can not register as a supplier or provider.

A professional who also wants to benefit from the buyer functions can directly create a Buyer and Supplier account, or do it after via his account.

How to create an account ?

To create an account, just click on the "Sign in" link at the top of the interface, and fill in the required fields, then choose your subscription (see "How much does it cost?" below ).

Creating a free account (Basic type) is immediate.

Creating a paid account is immediate in the case of a Gold membership, paid by credit card. In all other cases, the creation is done after receipt of payment. However, to enable you to start to use the Suppliers functions, a Basic account will be created pending receipt of payment.

How much does it cost ?

There are three types of offers: Basic (free), Gold and Platinum. The last two offers take the form of a 12-month non-renewable tacitly (alert is issued to the approach of the end of the subscription to invite you to renew it).

The various offers give you access to more or less functions. You will find the comparative table on the page Prices.

Which VAT rate will I pay ?

In accordance with European legislation, the VAT rate applied, and the way to pay it, depends on the country of your business. That is why Europe Factory, a company established in France, demands, for suppliers who are not established in the same country, to provide their VAT number. In most cases, non-french companies will pay taxes excluded, and will have to declare and pay the applicable VAT by themselves.

Can I delete my accout ?

You may request deletion of your account at any time from the "Your Profile" tab available in your account. This is not immediate, so as to avoid mistakes or malicious actions.

Moreover, the request to delete an account on which a subscription is not expired can’t cause a refund, even partial, of that subscription.

If you just want not to be listed on the website, you can do so from the tab « Supplier card » available in your account, and disable your products from the "Catalog" tab.

I’ve created a Buyer and Supplier profile, but I want to disable my Buyer profile. How to do it ?

From your account, in the "Your Profile" tab, you can change your account type. Simply choose the type "Supplier" to disable all functions related to your Buyer account. Your Buyer card will no longer be accessible to users, and you can not access the history of messages and quotations.

You can at any time reactivate this profile. Reactivation will put back online your Buyer card, and you will get back access to the history of messages and quotations.

What can I display in my catalog ?

Your catalog consists of a set of sheets. The number of sheets depends on your subscription level.

Each sheet must be a product, service or savoir-faire.

If you do not have specific products, you can do in this case a generic product, which instead will describe a type of products.

Examples of products: black city shoes different sizes; synthetic solid color cover different sizes; 1.5mm² power cable ...

Examples of generic products: different models of city shoes; vast choice of coverage; power cables all kinds ...

Examples of services: leaflets printing; website creation; business incubator ...

Examples of skills: glassware; weaving; embroidering ...

  • Step 1 : fill in your information in the "Your Profile" tab;

If you do not have precise references, you can create product types. For example, say you are a shoe manufacturer, you can create a "city shoes" product sheet, with pictures of different models available, and explain in the description the full range of opportunities for this type of product (choice of material, colors, type of laces ...).

Is my subscription tacitly renewed ?

When you choose a paid subscription, either Gold or Platinum, you pay once for a 12 months period.

In order to be transparent, Europe Factory has chosen not to practice the tacit renewal. Thus, there is no risk to have its subscription renewed, without having decided knowingly.

In the last 30 days of your subscription, you will receive regular alerts to remind you that your subscription will expire soon. You will be able, if you wish, to renew it and, in the case of a Platinum subscription, ask for a new quote. You can also change your subscription: move from Gold to Platinum, or vice versa.

What will happen if I don’t renew my subscription ?

After the expiration date of your subscription exceeded, a grace period is granted, assuming you forgot to renew it on time. After this period, your account will be automatically switched to Basic, which involves all the limitations of this account (see the Prices page), including the restriction of the number of products in your catalog to 3, and the inability to use the messaging. All data will be kept for a period of 6 months, allowing you to recover all if you decide to reactivate a subscription during this period. Beyond, Europe Factory will remove all data from its servers.

I’ve got a Gold subscription, and I would like to change it for a Platinum one. How to do it ?

You can upgrade to a Platinum subscription in two situations:

  • While the renewal of your subscription;

  • During the subscription.

In all cases, your application will generate a quote, which will take into account, where relevant, the fact that you have already paid a Gold subscription.

This application is accessible from your personal space.

I’ve got a Platinum subscription, and I would like to change it for a Gold one. How to do it ?

You can not modify your Platinum subscription to a Gold one during the subscription. You must wait the period of renewal so as to change it.

Modify a Platinum account to a Gold account implies that your catalog will be now limited to 300 product sheets.

Assuming that your catalog does include more than 300 sheets, it will be the most 300 recent ones that will remain activated (that is to say, visible to buyers). The other sheets will be kept, and you will be able to activate them at any time.

I can’t find a category or subcategory that matches my product or my service. What to do ?

I added a buyer to my contacts, but I can't see him in the chat.

Buyers can choose how they can be contacted, and how oftenly. If you don't see him, that means he didn't want to be contacted by chat.

I added a buyer to my contacts, and a new supplier appeared in my contacts. And vice-versa.

On Europe Factory, a user can be both supplier and buyer. In this case, when you add one or another profile, both of them will be added.

Can we buy products or services directly through Europe Factory ?

However, some suppliers may offer a direct purchase via a third party website. If applicable, you will see a link on the page of the product or service.

What differences between the "desktop" version and the mobile version?

If you connect via a phone or tablet, you might be surfing on the mobile version of Europe Factory. This version has been specially designed to offer an optimized viewing on such devices, and so bring you the best user experience for your search. However, the tools available are limited compared to the desktop versions. Also, for the best experience, we recommend you to navigate using a desktop computer.

What are the payment methods?

Accepted payment methods are: credit card (via PayPal), check or transfer.

What is the time zone used by Europe Factory?

As Europe Factory is based in France, the time zone is UTC + 1.
